Step 2

Check Startup Power

Motors, compressors, pumps and some appliances can require higher startup power than their normal running power.

Step 3

Select Battery Energy

Compare expected energy consumption, required backup duration, available PV production and operating reserve.

Floor-Standing All-In-One Home Energy Storage FAQ

Technical answers for homeowners, installers, distributors and project teams comparing the five AINEGY configurations.

What is integrated inside the AINEGY floor-standing all-in-one home ESS?

The product integrates a LiFePO4 battery, inverter, PV charging, AC charging, pure sine wave AC output, UPS transfer functionality and RS485/WiFi communication inside one enclosure.

What configurations are available?

The series includes 2kW/2.6kWh, 2kW/4kWh, 3kW/5.2kWh, 5kW/5.2kWh and 5kW/8kWh configurations.

What is the difference between kW and kWh?

kW is the AC output-power rating available to connected loads. kWh is the battery-energy capacity used to store energy for later use.

How should I choose 2kW, 3kW or 5kW?

Choose output power according to the total continuous load and the startup demand of appliances expected to operate at the same time.

How should I choose 2.6kWh, 4kWh, 5.2kWh or 8kWh?

Choose battery energy according to expected energy consumption, required backup duration, available solar generation and the desired operating reserve.

What does the transfer time below 20ms mean?

It is the specified transfer time of the integrated UPS function. Compatibility still depends on the connected equipment and the configured load.

Which solar panels can be connected?

Compatible PV strings must remain within the selected model's maximum PV voltage, MPPT voltage range and maximum input-current limit.

Can the battery charge from the grid?

Yes. The product documents list integrated AC charging with a rated AC input voltage of 230Vac.

Can the system work with a diesel generator?

The source system diagrams show a diesel generator as an AC source. Generator voltage, frequency, waveform, power and control requirements must be matched for the project.

Does the system power the entire home?

The system supports selected loads within the configured 2kW, 3kW or 5kW output rating. Whole-home suitability depends on the actual load profile and installation design.

What loads require startup-power checking?

Compressors, pumps, refrigerators, motors, power tools and some kitchen appliances can require startup power above their normal running value.
